May 2009
It all started when I found an old Canon SLR of my father's. I used to go to clubs like the Tune Inn in New Haven, CT and shoot hardcore and punk bands. Capturing the fast and energetic atmosphere allowed me to discover the abilities of photography.
I knew I wanted to be a photographer.
Meeting new people, hearing their stories - there is nothing better. In my photographs, my only goal is to extend those stories and
experiences to you. To capture the truth within my subjects. Photography to me is about trust. Many people are intimidated by
someone with a camera. The ability to let them open up and let go is what it is all about. Without their trust, I have nothing.
About a year ago, my wife Samantha was accepted into a PhD program at the UCONN Health Center. So we bought a small bungalow in West Hartford, CT, packed a Uhaul and headed off to our new home. We absolutely love it. A town that has so much great energy and a laid back atmosphere at the same time. Shortly after we moved in, a cattle dog named Bleu was added to the family. Life is great.
All the Best,
